BIKE FITTING

Aria Velo's F3 Fit & Analysis process is among the most thorough and comprehensive in the world.  We don’t rely on a single technology or fit philosophy, but blend the best aspects of the most current thinking, proven methods and data, and sophisticated tools and techniques available.   We address fit, form and function in a seamless process that includes:

-  A thorough interview

-  Computerized analysis of your pedal stroke

Our “F3” process takes an average of 3-4 hours, in a one-on-one environment--we do fits on an “appointment only” basis.  We take a consultative approach, and we will spend as much time as necessary to not only ensure perfect results, but to help you understand the data, the changes, and to fully address form and how your body functions most effectively on a bike.  Any questions you have regarding fit, bikes, equipment, cycling or triathlon in general can be addressed.  We make every effort to give the most unbiased and balanced information and recommendations possible, and we respect your goals, budget, and opinions. 

We offer only one “level” of fit--we will not compromise any aspect of the process.  We will fit you on your current bike, and identify your “ideal” fit as well.  With these coordinates, we can help you find the right "stock" bike, or we can build you the perfect custom bike from Parlee, Guru, or Serotta. We also offer Look, the finest stock bikes available.

CUSTOM INSOLES

Aria Velo offers eSoles custom insoles.  eSoles foot scanning technology is the only non-weight bearing 3D imaging technology for making precision custom footbeds. Your foot is supported on an air pillow with your leg and foot in a biomechanically neutral position, and scanned.  The result is a highly accurate image of the natural shape of your foot.   Using that scan, the custom footbeds are created and delivered in about 5-10 business days.

Why do George Hincapie, Levi Liephiemer, and David Zabriski all use eSoles?  The footbeds will improve the mechanics of your pedal stroke, improve comfort, power transfer and efficiency.  If you experience numbness, hot spots, soreness, or simply want to improve your comfort and power, eSoles are for you.

eSoles can be ordered for cycling, running, walking, skiing, golfing, field sports and dress shoes.  Each is designed specifically to meet the demands of that activity.

LAB RENTAL

Rent time by-the-hour to train in our Lab. No cars, stoplights, darkness or weather to deal with; you can focus on your training in a way that you can’t on the road! 

The Lab has a treadmill and two computer controlled stationary trainers that allows you to ride dozens of well-known courses (Road race courses, triathlon courses, Ironman courses...).   We’ll attach your bike to the trainer and you’ll see the course on a 37 inch computer screen. It shows the turns and upcoming hills when they would appear on the actual course.  The resistance unit mimics the resistance you would experience on the actual ride, whether it be a 5% steady state climb, or an 18% lung burner.  The bottom of the screen provides data such as cadence, speed, power (watts), grade, and distance. 

Triathletes doing a "brick" can make a quick transition to the treadmill.

We also have “Live Video” Ironman courses available.  Instead of seeing an animated setting on the screen, you see the actual Ironman course, right down to the aid station volunteers! Current live courses available include Ironman Hawaii, Ironman Louisville, Ironman Arizona and Ironman Couer d'Alene, with more on the way...

MECHANICAL SERVICES

As with our fit process, we do repair work on an appointment basis.  We meet with you on a one-on-one basis to assess the issue and explain the work that will be done.  Your work will NOT be done someone who just happens to be on the schedule that day, or by a random new-hire.   When your bike is delivered, our experienced mechanic will explain clearly the work that was done.

LOOK KÉO CLEAT FITTING

The Look KÉO FIT is a cleat selection and alignment system. The system will identify the correct cleat that corresponds best to the total amount of float used in the your pedal stroke. The device also determines the cyclists' natural angular foot position for the most efficient pedal stroke. Your cleats are then positioned with sub-degree accuracy and verified with a final measurement.
